Feeling the caring of quiet at the farm in Jeffersonville, NY, the still after the snowstorm led to finding a silent moment of emotion projected on the trees. The tree in the upper left seems to reach out to the fallen evergreen. Instead of sadness, like Van Gogh may have seen, I was reminded of how fallen trees often lay the base for new trees to grow in their nutrients as they return to the ground. As such, the quote reads, “The branch seems to reach out as the end brings new life.” -Nicole Kristiana FitzGibbon |
